Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to common questions about our live sound services. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to contact us directly.

Do you bring your own sound system?

Yes. I bring a complete digital sound system, including a mixing console, FOH speakers, monitors, microphones (if needed), and clean power distribution. I can also integrate with in-house systems if you prefer.

Can you handle both small and large events?

Absolutely. I regularly support everything from small church services and backyard concerts to full bands and outdoor festivals. My system scales to fit the event.

Do you provide multitrack recordings?

Yes. I offer optional multitrack recording for bands, worship teams, and artists who want to capture their performance for review, mixing, or promotional use

How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible, especially for weekend events. I book on a first-come, first-served basis, but I’ll always try to accommodate short-notice requests when I can.

How much setup time do you need?

Typically 2–4 hours before event start time, depending on the complexity of the setup. This allows time for load-in, equipment setup, soundcheck, and adjustments.

What types of events do you support?

I work with a wide variety of events, including:

  • Concerts and band performances

  • Worship services and church events

  • Weddings and private parties

  • Corporate events and presentations

  • Community festivals and fundraisers

Where are you based, and do you travel?

I’m based in Kent, WA and serve the greater Pacific Northwest. Travel outside this area is available upon request.

I prefer to use my own vocal mic. Can I bring it?

Absolutely. I understand that many performers have a favorite mic that works best for their voice or performance style. Just let me know ahead of time so I can plan for it during setup and soundcheck.

Do you provide a backline for bands?

Backline can be provided for an additional cost, depending on availability and event needs. This includes items like guitar amps, bass rigs, keyboards, or drum kits. If backline is required, we’ll discuss the details and include it in the event contract.
